How much does a custom cake cost in Asansol? An honest 2026 price guide

Prices below are for cakes baked to order from my home kitchen in Burnpur, Asansol. Everything is fresh, small batch, and made only after you order — nothing sits in a display.

What changes the price

The starting number covers a plain flavour with a short piped message. The price moves up when you add:

• Premium flavours like fresh mango, tiramisu, red velvet or butterscotch with fillings
• Fondant work, sculpted toppers, edible photo prints or gold leaf
• Fresh flowers, edible pearls, drips and layered designs
• Tiered cakes for weddings and engagements

Why home-baked can be more affordable than a shop

I don't pay shop rent or staff salaries, so I can put that money into better cream, real butter, fresh fruit and Belgian chocolate instead. That's why a Sweet Bloom cake often costs less than a fancy bakery in Asansol, but tastes closer to the real thing.

Lead time

For most cakes I only need 24 hours' notice, ideally 24–48 hours. Tiered and wedding cakes need 4–7 days so I can plan the structure and order in specific ingredients.
