Classic Tiramisu Tub
Freshly whipped mascarpone cream layered with coffee-soaked ladyfingers and a thick dusting of cocoa. Baked to order in Asansol.
From ₹250
Coffee and mascarpone tiramisu tubs — made fresh, best eaten cold.
Tiramisu is the dessert I make for people who don't really want cake. It comes in a tub rather than as a decorated cake: layers of coffee-soaked sponge and a light mascarpone cream, dusted with cocoa on top, from ₹250 depending on the size of the tub you want.
Mine is eggless, so it sets a little lighter than the classic version and tastes cleaner and less heavy. The coffee strength is adjustable — I can keep it mild for a family who finds tiramisu bitter, or make it properly strong. There is no alcohol in it unless you ask.
Tiramisu must stay cold, so it suits a dinner at home better than a long outdoor party. Collect it as late as you can, keep it refrigerated, and serve straight from the fridge. It holds well for two days, which makes it a good choice when the celebration runs over two evenings.
